MIYO Home owners, Fati Rosenberg and Stephanie Jourdan, opened their hearts and the doors to their fabulous showroom last Thursday to host a chic event to benefit the Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation. The MIYO Home “Chair-ity” joined forces with eight local artists, including Iran Issa-Kahn, Seth Browarnik, Hillary Scrutis, Briggs Solomon, Fernando Wong, Robert Zemnickis and Thom Filicia, each of whom decorated a MIYO Home Chair with his own unique vision, using the Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation for inspiration. The one-of-a kind pieces were auctioned off at Thursday’s cocktail to raise over $30,000 for the foundation.

Artists were invited to translate their visions onto a classic design piece – a chair – using the Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation as a reference of inspiration. The one-of-a-kind chairs will be on display throughout the evening and auctioned off. The auction will begin prior to the event on the MIYO Home virtual boutique and will end at the event; 100% of the proceeds from all eight chairs were donated to the Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation.

The MIYO Home experts will determine a layout, a color palette and a furniture/accessory plan creating an individual or overall theme for your apartment or entire home.

How we do it
After the initial assessment, a series of unique accents, furniture and other MIYO Home pieces are shipped directly to your home where they are assembled and creatively placed according to your customized plan. This process usually takes about five to seven days.
